About Me
Hi, I'm Cherie!
I'm an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Health and Wellbeing Coach, and I've spent much of my career working with people whose health doesn't fit neatly into one box.
My background is in exercise physiology, chronic disease management, rehabilitation, persistent pain and education.
I have worked in university teaching and have a longstanding interest in helping people understand the science of their own bodies.
Over time, my work has increasingly focused on the overlap between our biology and physiology, our beliefs, emotions and patterns and our external environment and how this all interacts to make up the quality of our life
Add in things like being neurodivergent and managing invisible illness and we have a system that becomes way too overloaded and the cracks appear!
Looking at one piece in isolation often isn't enough. My approach is curious, practical and individual.
I want to understand what is happening for you, explain it in a way that makes sense, and then help you find things that genuinely make life easier.

Values
Curiosity — Seek to understand first. Health is rarely simple. Its about you as a whole person, your circumstance, your body, your beliefs and patterns, your experiences.
Humanity — People before Problems. You are not a diagnosis, a symptom or an exercise program. We work together grounded in genuine connection, compassion and respect.
Possibility — There is always somewhere to go from here. Not false positivity or promises, but helping to find what is possible—more capacity, confidence, strength, participation or quality of life.
Agency — You leave understanding yourself better. This is not about "fixing". It's to help understand your body, mind and life and make informed choices and build confidence in managing your own health and wellbeing.
